Every Tuesday at 7:00pm from June 4th through August 6th. Warm up begins at 6:45pm.
Rules:
- Earn points from Week 1 to Week 9. Week 10 is tiebreaker
- Each Week 1st place - 5pts; 2nd place - 4pts and so on (1st 5 finishers in each age range earn points each week)
- Must attend at least 3 races to win series in age division
- Total Points at end of 9 weeks determines winner
- 5K begins @ 7:00pm each Tuesday. Warm Up begins at 6:45pm.

June 4th Summer Sizzle 5K Series Crew
SUCCESS! It could not have started any better. We had 21 participants show up for Week 1 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series. Just check out those happy faces after completing 3.1 miles. So what are you waiting for? Come join us on Tuesday evenings throughout the Summer.

🎉🏃♂️ Week 2 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series was fantastic! 🏃♀️🎉
We had perfect weather with a temperature of only 83 degrees at run time and lower humidity, making it a great evening for running. This week, we welcomed back 8 returnees and introduced 2 new participants to our running family. It was wonderful to see both familiar and new faces!

June 18th Summer Sizzle 5K Series Crew
Summer Sizzle 5K Series - Week 3 Recap!
Week 3 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series was absolutely fantastic! We had a wonderful turnout with 8 returnees and 6 newcomers joining us. This week's theme seemed to be music, and it added an incredible vibe to the evening. Participants ran to the beat of everything from Grunge to 90's Hip Hop to Rock, blasting tunes from their phones. The music definitely pumped everyone up, leading to some impressive times on the course.
We're excited to keep the momentum going and would love for you to join us every Tuesday evening at Lake Carillon Park. Here's the schedule:

Week 4 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series: The Hottest Week Yet!
Week 4 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series truly put the “Sizzle” in the race name—it was scorching HOT out there! Despite the heat, we had an incredible turnout with 3 fresh faces joining us, each representing a new age category. It’s always exciting to see new runners in the mix!
One big takeaway from this week: don't run right after eating a big ol' hamburger! The race was tough, but those ice-cold towels at the end made it all worth it.

The heat was on again this week, but that didn't stop our determined runners! We had 10 amazing participants battle through the sizzling temperatures. A special shoutout to our 4 newcomers, including one who joined a new age category. Welcome to the Summer Sizzle family! 🌟
After the run, we cooled down with ice-cold towels and enjoyed some refreshing watermelon. 🍉 It's moments like these, the relaxed atmosphere, and the great conversations that truly stand out. We're becoming good friends, creating memories one run at a time.

🌟 Week 6 Recap: Summer Sizzle 5K Series! 🌟
Week 6 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series was so enjoyable! We had a break in the heat, making it an even more enjoyable evening. A big shoutout to our 19 participants, including 7 new runners and walkers who joined us this week.
Post-run, we cooled down with those wonderful ice-cold towels and enjoyed some delicious yellow (yes, yellow) watermelon. We're thrilled to see this new summer tradition continue to grow.

Week 7 Recap - The Few, The Proud, The Runners
Week 7 of the Summer Sizzle 5K Series was simply wonderful! Although our numbers were small, the spirit and determination of our participants were mighty. We had 6 participants this week, including 1 new runner/walker who joined us.
